The Ritemaster and I stopped dead in our tracks. “What’s the matter Oriandra?” Ritemaster Iachesis asked. Oriandra tried to catch her breath to tell us what was wrong. She grabbed onto the Ritemaster and shouted “The pearl! The abyssal pearl, it’s… it’s… GONE!” At this news the Ritemaster quickly ran out of the room leaving Oriandra and I behind.
