The Final Memory

How high up did this pathway go? It felt like it was never ending, always ascending and yet making no progress in altitude. Mindscapes are a strange place, I had thought to myself as I came upon these floating orbs. There were tons of them, drifting in the air and floating about. What are these things?

I decided to try to hurt one and hit one with an arrow. It popped immediately and the others started to drift towards me. I moved to the right and they all changed direction to follow my movements. This can’t be good… but an idea had came to my mind in that moment of panic.

I quickly pulled out some arrows and began to run in a circle which caused the orbs to group up. Once they were in a good position I unleashed as many arrows as I could at once. When they popped one orb, they sailed into the next closest one and popped it. This method was working really well!

Soon enough the pathway was relatively clear when I came upon another hoard of zombie-like husks, one of which stood out from the rest. That must be the guardian. Sure enough, situated behind them was another pink ward blocking the path. I unleashed my arrows into the husks, clearing as many of them out as I could until they adapted to my attacks.

The guardian though was powerful, I had to be getting close to the more protected memories of K’Tora’s. Pulling back the string to my bow I launched my attack on it. I watched it dodge each arrow as it came close. I had to catch it by surprise. I started to run back and forth, zig-zagging around the path, spraying the area with arrows. The guardian soon fell and once again I found myself watching another memory of K’Tora’s play out.

“Repeat my words worm” K’Tora’s voice called out in that familiar rough and monstrous tone. “Tell me… what must you do?” There was a crouched figure in front of K’Tora and I recognized it as Ritemaster Iachesis. He appeared even weaker than he was in the last memory.

He responded to K’Tora in a defeated tone, weak and out of breath. “I will… enter… the Crystal Tower… I will… take… the Heart of Transparent Law…” K’Tora laughed a victorious laugh and said “Yes! Hide it away until I call for you to give it to me. Not even the Princes will know where it is!” The Ritemaster responded as the memory faded, “Hide… the… heart…”

Sucked in by the lore of ESO, I sought a way to connect more with my character and the story. I was inspired to create Keebler Sparrowgrass and document her journey through Tamriel and decided to invite you all come along for the journey.
